In at-home treatments, patients wear a mouth guard fitted with bleaching gel 2 hours a day for two weeks, depending on the severity of staining.
Step5
Think about getting veneers, which are custom-made shells bonded to the teeth with resins. This procedure often requires removing a small amount of tooth structure and is the most invasive, as well as the most expensive, treatment option.

i just whitened my teeth and it really works! get whitening trays from your local store and use those. you use them for 7 days. 40 minutes at a time. [read the directions and health things too] byt the fourth day, it will start to work. its great! and they dont cost much.

I don’t know any stores, as I don’t know where you live, but some programs allow for free trials, which are a great choice, as you don’t have anything to loose.

One of the best ones I know is the one I posted on the source. I have personally used their services and loved it, no side-effects. I too was afraid of buying online, afraid of being scammed, but it was then that I found this one, and with the free trial, I couldn’t pass.

Try it if you want, got nothing to lose. Plus, it’s really easy to use…

You answered your question perfectly right. While it will take a bit longer it is less expensive. So is the 2 or 3 weeks of extra time worth saving the money? You should get pretty much the same end results. Good luck

SirenSong – if you look at the list of ingredients in most tooth whitening products (including the strips) you may notice that the tooth whitening ingredient is some form of Hydrogen Peroxide. Just use hydrogen peroxide instead of your regular mouth wash. Also, some tooth whitening strips can make your teeth hurt.

Every morning and before bed after brushing and flossing use Hydrogen Peroxide as your mouth wash. You can buy hydrogen peroxide (3% in the brown bottle) at your local drugstore for about $ 2 for a 32 ounce bottle. Mix ½ ounce hydrogen peroxide with ½ ounce hot water and swirl in your mouth for about 1 minute (hydrogen peroxide is odorless and tasteless but it FOAMS and may sting your mouth a bit). After swirling, spit out the hydrogen peroxide (DO NOT SWALLOW) and then rinse your mouth out several times with cool water. A 32 ounce bottle will last about one month.

Hydrogen peroxide will not only whiten your teeth it also kills the bacteria in the mouth that causes bad breath and cavities.

For even more tooth whitening try a hydrogen peroxide and baking soda toothpaste like Arm& Hammer Advance White.

My husband and I used Crest white strips – we both used them as it says to.
He had better results than I and we think it’s because he had his teeth cleaned at the dentist just a week or two before he used them and I didn’t.
His teeth were pearly white, mine just lightened a shade or two.
